Pencil drawing of a parched tree in Joshua Tree National Park, drawn from a photo I took last year. We were there in May and the temperature was already well into the 30s. This tree struck me for the beautiful shapes it makes in the bright sunlight. The drawing is A2 in size and took me somewhere in the region of 100 hours to draw.
I am very proud to have had this drawing accepted into DRAW18, the annual exhibition of The Society for Graphic Fine Art https://www.sgfa.org.uk/
